Lake Sixteen is a shore accessible fresh water dive site, located at 702 120th Avenue, Martin, MI 49070. This dive site has an average rating of 4.00 out of 5 from 3 scuba divers. The maximum depth is 81-90ft/25-27m. The average visibility is 11-15ft/3-5m. Training platforms are available.

Platform is at 39’ and the snowmobile is at 69’. There’s sunken boats, cars and more. Most of the objects have guide lines to assist in navigation. Visibility can be very low during the summer. The lake
doesn’t warm up much even by the end of the summer months. Bring a dive light if your going out to 85’ because algae suspended at shallower depths can reduce light levels even though the visibility will be better.

This is the lake I completed my recertification at. Lots to see. It is a very good dive to also practice navigation.
