I went scuba diving here on 10/7/2023.
Dove with some folks on a rainy and cold day. Took a bit to find the like but it was fun. If you swim out until the “ridge” follow that south until you see the pile. If you are on the surface, it is basic at I’m from if the blue house a few hundred yards out.

An easy dive for beginners. Good visibility. Public beach and boat launch nearby. Sandy beach with an outhouse. A car was marked by a milk jug on the surface. Wooden boat, trash can, lots of timbers and big rocks scattered throughout. Saw several perch and bass in the car. No scuba support for approx 15 miles. Bring your own food and beverages. No real stores this far up the peninsula. Water temp was 61 on our last day. It cracks me up that the local youth wanted to build their own island to hang out and drink.
