Just off America’s oldest city lies one of the country’s most unlikely landing strips, where 33 decommissioned Navy A-6 attack bombers have come to rest. The jets, which flew combat during the Persian Gulf War, now lie in 110 feet of water 24 miles out from St. Augustine Inlet.
