I went scuba diving here on 11/8/2014. Average viz: Under 5ft/2m. Water temp: 61-65°F/16-18°C.
Extremely bad visibility. There were lots of marine plants and clams. I didn’t see any fish. There probably are fish they’ll just never get close enough to see them considering the vis. I found a child’s goggles and put it in my collection bag. Unfortunately I set my bag down for just a few seconds and lost it. In the murk I never found it again. I want to go back sometime and search for it. It was super shallow off the beach. I wonder what’s it’s like down deeper near the dam. Maybe it clears up below a thermocline like other lakes do.
