Hi, I’m travelling to the US from the UK in October, and someone has recommended that I try diving the Edmunds Underwater Park on the north side of Seattle, as I’m in the area. Not sure exactly what dates I’ll be there yet, but likely to be around Wednesday the 20th. Anyone up for it? Thanks, James. ...

This is a reminder: The terms of use allow for members to join if under 18. The terms of use also state that adult members are not allowed to contact minors unless the minors initiate contact. It shows up in red letters at the top of a member’s profile if the member is under 18. Please pay attention to this and don’t ask kids to be your buddy. At best, it’s creepy. ...

Hi! I’m going to be in New Zealand from August 21st until September 14th (travelling there from Vancouver, Canada), and am hoping to find some dive buddies. I will definitely be in Wellington, the Fjordland, and Auckland, but am flexible if somebody wants to visit other places. I am a research diver - study abalone, and have 300+ dives. Cheers, Christine. ...

Do dive computers output your dives to a file?

I own a dive computer, but I’ve never used the computer integration with it. I’m wondering if most dive computers have the ability to output the dives stored to a file that is saved on your local computer. OR is the information only saved within the computer’s software application? Maybe the software application offers an export option. If an output file is available, what format is it in and can you reply with a sample of how the information looks inside the file or send me a ...

My 14 year old daughter got certified and wants her own gear so we can load the trunk & go diving. She has her own mask, fins, snorkel and BC, but we are looking for a regulator and wetsuits (3&7mm) for her. She wears a ladies size 6. If anyone is fortunate enough to have moved someplace warm so they don’t need a wetsuit or is no longer built like a 14 year old, please let me know what you have and how much you want. Thanks ...

Off the bat, I’d like to just say please excuse me of my ignorance on this matter. Basically what I’m curious about isnt exactly scuba diving as a whole, however, it is involved. You see, I’m 25 years old now and since as long as I can remember I’ve always wanted to live in the caribbean and own my own boating/scuba company, so I can take vacationers out for the day. The catch is, I have 0 boating experience. Its ust something I didnt really grow up with, though I’ve always had the passion for i...

Has anyone been there recently? what can you tell me about the place? How expensive is it once you get there. I usually do these trips on a very limited budget. Any help will be appreciated..thanks!
