Check out this site for a survey completed on the Great Barrier Reef. Beautiful photography, but the coolest feature (in my opinion) is the "virtual dive" tool. You can literally check these sites out; looking up and down, explore along the reef wall, and even the ability to zoom in if you see something neat along the way; just keep clicking down the dotted line and it will update your view.
