I’m wanting to make a trip down to La Paz soon. Any travel tips or dive recommendations would be appreciated! Things I’m especially curious about.. Is mid to late summer an ok time to go? I know whale shark season is earlier.. Where did you fly into? Did you stay at Cortez Club or elsewhere? How do you compare diving here, money wise and enjoyment wise, to other places in Mexico, such as Cozumel? Thanks in advance!

We have always used Buceo Carey dive shop in La Paz. Pangas with no more than 6-7 divers. They have always been a pleasant experience. They will pick up/drop off at your hotel.
