I am new to DiveBuddy. I am trying to figure out how to "back up" my dive log digitally. I only have hard copy paperwork (some of which is getting pretty ratty, at this point). I don’t use dive computers (maybe I am still too cheap), so everything is calculated old school instead of uploading data via the dive computer, etc.

Any recommendations for the best way to do this?

I would use excel then export your data to DiveBuddy using the csv option.

I agree, if you have a lot of hand written dive logs, it may be best to transcribe them to Excel first. Start off by setting up the columns that you’ll need data for (ie: date, number of dives, bottom time, etc). Then start filling out the spreadsheet with as much info as you can.
