Should I add the ability to Rate divers/pros on DiveBuddy?

Should I add the ability to Rate (1 - 5 stars) members on DiveBuddy? If so, what types of members...divers, instructors, any dive business? Comment whether you think the member should be able to request a rating change (ie: if they got a bad rating from someone). Also comment if you think we should be able to see a list of who posted the rating.

[Choose #2] this would be a good clearing house for such info. You can find the same rating on trip advisor

[Choose #3] I don’t recommend allowing one to see who posted a rating - it would inhibit honesty

[Choose #4] No, If you’re going to allow members to rate a business then you need to let businesses rate a member. I’ve seen people on TripAdvisor try and trash a business on issues that were not valid. Keep it simple and no drama.

[Choose #1] I like RAWalker’s suggestion. Rate given on point system to questions answered.

[Choose #4] I know divers that will rate "their dive shop and instructors highly," while rating other shops and instructors terribly while not even knowing them. So it can become kind of tilted and not as diver/consumer/ beneficial as intended.

[Choose #3] Allow to rate, but make a spot to justify your rating like on Ebay.

[Choose #1] Rating can be very subjective. I’d suggest carefully designing a group of question with point values that rate different aspects of the business and then a total score and overall impression of positive or negative.

[Choose #1] I think it is fair to rate a business and it will be useful for members when planning a dive trip or when purchasing equipment.

[Choose #4] I saw a rating system spin out of control on another forum and then get ditched

[Choose #1] I think it’s fair to rate business - but you realize this can/will open a can of worms.
