Why are you so dang concerned about other peoples profiles? We are here to find fellow divers and share experiences and adventures of diving. If all you care about is whether or not someone has something to hide or if they are really being truthful, then you need to just go away! We don`t need people like you on here just picking apart other peoples profils. Get a life..... better yet... GO DIVING!!!!!!!

I`m not going to be so quick to presume that the person that posted this question is the same one that posted the last. But it does make one wonder why all the issue`s with one`s profile. If your considering this person as a dive buddy you need to be able to trust them completely. Not be 100ft under and be thinking of the dive profile. But that`s just my opinion.

Well hopefully if you are concidering meeting someone to go diving from the internet, you have made some sort of personal contact before hand. Its just plain ignorant to rely on information from a profile page! I have dove with at least 3 people from this site with out any issues. One person I talked with on the phone and over e-mails for over 2 months before I dove with them. It took us that long to get our schedules to match up! I just think people need to keep this in perspective. This site is to "initiate" contact! Not be the "be all/end all" of meeting someone!

I keep my Marital Status "Private", because its P-R-I-V-A-T-E, that`s why.

I think it`s hilarious that some wish to whine about others keeping certain things in their profile private, and they do so by posting in the Anonymous section. What cowardly hypocrites.

Well one can only presume that keeping it private means maybe they are still hoping to get "lucky" on a trip on something?! People seem to sometimes judge whether they want to be `friends` with me or not based on that. We are here to share and learn from each other. Making half of one`s profile `private` is not really sharing! But to each his own! I agree, I am not really caring what status a person is, but if someone has a jealous spouse then it might be good to know, so that off beat comments aren`t made. Sometimes innocent jokes and comments get taken wrong. But, either way, I think it just helps to know "who" you are dealing with and where they come from. For instance, I like to know a person is gay, just so I know what to say and not say in front of thm, NOT because I need to know because it will make a difference. DID THAT MAKE ANY SENSE???

I like the above reply the best. Greg: please add a sexual preference catagory and don’t leave out cross-dressers. Man, there’s nothing more sexy that a cross-dressing woman. And while you’re at it, it might be a good idea to add an incontinence (did I spell that right) catagory as well. People, let’s take a reality break. You could post the most beautiful-handsom picture as your primary profile picture only to find out it’s realy that of your neighbor. Whay are we here? Because we all share the same passion. Diving!!!
