Where and How do you Store your SCUBA Gear?

As much as we would all like to be scuba diving every day, or have a vehicle with a permanent scuba storage bin, at some point we need to stow away our scuba gear for a couple months.

Where do you store your gear?

Please comment on How you store it (ie: plastic bin, dive bag, hung up, sitting on shelves, on the floor, etc.)

[Choose #5] I don’t know, my butler is a dive master and she takes care of all that for me. I will ask her though.

[Choose #5] I have a very nice rolling box by Kobalt that fits all of my gear(including a bottle) for transport and temporary storage. Otherwise my equipment is stored in a somewhat climate controlled garage my EMS base or my house.

[Choose #3] We have a bar mounted above bath tube where wetsuits and so can dry, by next dive mostly they are not completely dry. Rest is hanged there until dry then in the dive box, in storage inside house.

[Choose #3] Once clean and dry it goes in to a big 50gal Husky job box with a sealing lid and locks. Everything, but my wetsuit goes in, so I can just throw it in the truck and go without worry of forgetting something. The box is in a climate controlled garage.

[Choose #3] Like most people, mine is stored in my home office closet; I thoroughly rinse everything, then air-dry it in the garage first.

[Choose #3] I spent good money for my scuba equipment and I treat it with respect as I also depend on it as life supporting as well. Why take a chance on abusing your equipment unless you like living your life dangerously.

[Choose #3] Since my life depends on my gear it is stored inside my house where it is climate controlled.

[Choose #3] Since dive gear is life or death depending on upkeep, I have mine stored in the bedroom closet away from outside elements. Most of my rock climbing, hiking and gym workout paraphernalia are in secure bins on shelves in the garage.

[Choose #3] Most of my gear is in a room next to the furness room, this is the warmest-driest room in the house.

[Choose #3] Here in AZ if it isn’t climate controlled it’s too hot. Even out at the dive sites we need to care that our gear gets too much sun exposure when it’s dry.
