So I know this is not diving related, but I am in St Augustine ( sans dive gear) but looking to at least fill my need for good southern food, BBQ, and especialy some REAL southern fried chicken. Anyone have any recommendations for a local spot to endulge?

I’ve never gone for BBQ but when in St. Augustine we always have soup and bread at the Spanish Bakery in old town, my kids would always buy a few extra loaves for their mother back in Gainesville but the bread would always be gone before they got there.

Well I have not found a place to go for good southern food or fried chicken here in St Augustine, still my favorite place to eat here though is the South Beach Grill on A1A if anyone is in the are and looking for a place to eat. Also, no diving while here in Florida, headed back the wonderful and I am sure still cold and snowy Ontario tomorrow night.

Plus side, pick up a nice set of doubles while I was here, great price and a nice looking set of tanks, can’t wait to put them to use when I get back.
