Late minute dive planning for Florida

Hello,

I didn’t know if I would have money to go on vacation and I still might not have enough.
I was hoping to travel to Florida and do some SCUBA diving and try to stay under $500 if possible.

Any advice would be appreciated. Not sure if this is the worst idea ever since it is July 4th Holiday.

Thanks in advance.

Panama City beach is a good option. If you want to keep the cost down you could camp at St Andrews state park and dive the Jetties. If you want to do boat dives most of the charters cost around $85 plus tips for a two tank in shore dive. Offshore trips are around $120

I wish I had a camper because that would be a great idea. I wonder if they rent campers their or if it would be too hot for a tent?

Where is North Palm Beach? Is that in the Keys?

Well we went to the Jacksonville Florida area. Sad to say didn’t get to dive anywhere.
Didn’t have a buddy and the only day I could go was Saturday and all the boats leave at 6-6:30AM so I missed everything all around.

Thank you all very much for your replies and advice. Hopefully it will help me better in the future.
