Anybody have any experience wearing a Pinnacle Inferno V-skin? I was wondering how it worked in 65-72 degree water.

I have the same question. I plan to use one underneath a 3 mil wet suit, in 70-75 degree water. I think it’s similar to the shark skin. Would that be warm enough?

You’ll be wearing it under a 3 mil suit? Let me know how you like it. I haven’t bought one yet, but I’ll be needing it in Feb when I’m off to Socorro Islands.

The suit fit nice I wear size King 1. There was trick to get into it, but I mastered that it worked just perfect.

So did you wear it under another suit? What water temps?

The first day I wore the 3mm without the V-skin @ 87ft B-temp 72% no problem. Second day I wore just the V-skin, @ 111 ft B-temps 72 degrees and the suit performed fine. The fleece under lining kept me nice and toasty.

I’m planning to get one to use one trip to Socorro Island. Water temps are going to be low 70’s. Most divers wear a 7 mil suit on this trip.Since I don’t have a 7 mil, and since I don’t do much cool water diving, I had planned to get a v-suit to wear underneath my 3 mil. By your review it sounds like I’d be plenty warm. Thanks!

At that latitude, there should be no problem. Good luck on your trip and dive safe.
