Hi Jeff,

I am headed into Dana Point in June and I am looking for a buddy to dive with me on the 26th. Unfortunately that is my only free day. If you could accommodate or know someone else who could please drop me a message or call.

Much obliged...

cell. 540-257-4266

Thanks,

Jon

Hey New Dive Buddy!!! I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada and most of my dives have been at Whytecliff Marine Park in West Vancouver, BC. I love Kelvin Grove (in Lions Bay, West Vancouver) also.

I’m itching to travel south for some warmer water dives...would i need to bring my dry suit to your area for April or May?

I WISH! I got an ear infection so I’m out of the water at least through the end of next week! =(

Yes, just out to Catalina last weekend and this weekend diving at

Corona Del Mar. I did the Chamber Day Dive - and my boat wasn’t cancelled like the other ones. Did you go to that event?

Thanks.....I’m enjoying my new dive sweatshirt! Enjoyed the egg hunt.

ah, the tough questions! honestly, i suppose tropical appeals to me the most, but i’m open to all sorts of diving. i just found out my cousin dives, and he goes to some quarry in upstate new york - seems kind of odd to dive in a quarry, no?

is there a particular kind you would recommend? i was supposed to do my cert dives in fiji, but my trip got cancelled, but i was told fiji was like "swimming around in a giant bowl of fruit loops." must say, that hasn’t lost its appeal. . . imagining. . .

A few of us are planning to dive Laguna, but next door at Crescent/Deadmans. Reason being that myself and buddy Dave are both bringing our young daughters to play on the beach during our dives (my dad will watch) and we need a beach with a bathroom. The egg hunt does sound like fun though. Where can I go to get more info on time, etc? Who knows, maybe we’ll join the hunt through the arch.... You’re welcome to join us or play with your eggs ;-) We’re planning our first dive around 10ish as I have a long drive and need to haul the beach toys down first. "IF" I can even find parking.

Awesome, thanks for the welcome message! I’m excited to get to know some divers!

I’m going to casino point. Is the triangle you’re talking about the deadman’s reef??? I am in search of new buddies - so let me know when and where you’ll be in Laguna, maybe I’ll come out.

I’m actually diving tomorrow at Catalina. I try to dive as much as I can, usually due to other peoples availability. I enjoy diving at laguna, what are your favorite spots??

I’m nearly done with the club section. You can now be a member of more than one club at a time. And location info is not required in case the club is an online club online and not a local dive club. If you have time, check out the new club section and let me know what you think. I still need to add the ability to share your events and dive trips with a club. But for now, you can at least share photos and blogs with the clubs you’re a member of.

Thanks for lighting a fire under me to get this done :)

later,

Greg

That’s the team we are all in it. I know it is a bit small I couldn’t see it myself. I wish that person took it closer. If you go to my profile and look uder for sucbarich and he has the pictures from underwater with the banner. But so many divers and the sand which made it a bad vis.
dhung99_2000 - 3/03/2009 4:23 AM
Don’t worry. I will let you know what is our next plan and see if you could make it for a dive.

Hi Jeff. Yesterday I went out with a big group and most of them were on this site. It was a great turn out. I am doing good on my air and buoyancy which I stayed at the outer reef.

I am getting the diving concept. Have you heard of it?
dhung99_2000 - 12/29/2008 1:19 AM
Sorry to hear that you are sick. Hope you are feeling better. I didn’t either had a chance to get in this weekend because felt like something coming down on me. Properly like you said, must be the weather. I am still waiting for my dry suit to come in which I have ordered it. It is so cold out there and I don’t know how those divers does it with a 7mm wet suit. Brrrrr.....Take care and hopefully see you in the water.
