Were you on the Survivor film crew?

Not on the crew, went when they weren’t filming (fasjr and his wife went along also). It was the most unique 30 hour experience ever. Left our Philippines house for 30 minute drive to catch a rented fishing banca with 2 operators for 5 of us, 4 tanks, 2 sets of gear, cooler, 5 gal water, 5 gal boat gas, portable marine gps with car battery in a laundry soap bucket. Ended up on the beach with banca swamped due to inexperience of boatman that we thought were local experts. Next morning after banca motor rebuilt and oil chg we headed home with BCD partially inflated on our wives with cord in pockets to tie things together when the boat sank (it didn’t surprisingly). Also had cellphones in dry bags, water jug empty so would be floatation device. Filed float plane via cellphone with friend on homeland island. We were in swells/troughs of 10-15’ in a 27’ long 1/4" plywood boat 18" wide with a 16HP inboard with no neutral or revervse. The keel was hand carved from a hardwood tree and also had bamboo outriggers on both sides that were attached with 100 lb nylon fishing line. Wife hijacked a motorcycle from the resort security guard so we could get word to the boatman where to bring the boat after repairs. So many other side stories from this event to write a short story.

Holy cow man. Yeah you should write a short story about it.
