Greetings!
I got my open water certification through SSI in November of 2005. Most of my 86 dives were accumulated on five trips: Roatan, La Paz, Cozumel, Utila and Belize. My certification check out dives were all done at altitude. I’ve done a liveaboard, boat diving, a few wreck dives, a few night dives, drift diving, and have been diving with reef sharks and whale sharks. I sometimes have difficulty clearing my ears, so my descents tend to be slow, so my dive buddy will need to be patient with me and stay close. Hopefully, in time, this problem will resolve itself.
My style of diving is easy and relaxed. I like to take my time and watch the critters do their thing and take a few pictures. I have the stamina to do 3 or 4 dives a day, but don’t mind doing an "easy" day once in a while.
I would like to have some time to get to know my prospective buddy(ies) and do a few "day trips" with them to make sure I feel comfortable with them, and they feel comfortable with me before perhaps going on a longer dive vacation.
