Surface anxiety is gone thank goodness. I’m still sucking air though and still can’t seem to get my buoyancy under control. Hubby dive buddy, our friend Tess and two of her friends, Andy and Tim. We swam almost to the bouy, turned left and submerged at 9:35. We swam along the seawall and saw several colorful coral and fish. One of the coral looked like a purple cabbage like you’d see in the garden (not like you see in the store) which if you Google it, turns out is actually called cabbage coral. We also saw some coral that looked like a bunch of transparent grapes which Googled are called grape coral. It’s not often that I find things are named like I think they look. We saw plenty of anemone with anemone fish in them but I guess everyone calls those Nemo’s now. We also saw bunches and bunches of moorish idol. Do we call those "Gill’s" now since that was the name of the moorish idol in Finding Nemo? There were baby fish EVERY where. For every colorful fish I saw, I also saw miniature versions of them. The cool finds of the dive was a puffer fish that Tess caught on vid. We surfaced at 10:25 and I was at 500 psi. It was a good dive and I’m starting to see more. I’m still struggling with buoyancy especially as my tank starts emptying. I may just have to carry 20-23 lbs and add air if I need it.
