Silversides is a small 140’ diameter, 400’ deep blue hole, for photographers the top 15’ of the rim are the most interesting.
Swim thru, about 8’ wide and 3’ high from 40’ to 80’, follow line under float. On at least two occasions there have been reef sharks in the swim thru.
From my log; Found swim thru but it was silted out, saw southern stingray near exit and a school of jacks coming up from blue hole but not much else below 40’. The rim had a lot of cleaning stations and loads of Blue chromis
Another dive a year later; The walls are covered in Fairey Basslets, higher it’s schools of Creole wrasse, Blue Chromis, and Schoolmaster. Some Angels, Trunkfish, asst. Parrots, Yellowtail and Cuda.
