Headed to Myrtle Beach for the first time in 30 years for a week. Any Dive Ops recommended or any to avoid?
Thanks,
Dale

There are two ops. One on the north end (like very far north end) and one on the very far south end in Murrells Inlet. The one on the north end is Coastal Scuba. I cannot comment on them since I have never used them just for the fact my hotel is on the southern end of MB. The one in Murrells Inlet is Express Watersports. I have dove with them every year for the past 5 years or so usually twice a week. The boat is nice and spacious and the crew is very nice and helpful. When are you going?

I’ll be in MB this Saturday (20 June) until the 27th. I’ve seen the websites for both of those places. Murrell’s Inlet is probably closer to our condo (Compass Cove). My 9 year old wants to do a "Discover Scuba" and I’m going to try and get at least one charter in for me during the week. I’ll look harder at Express.. I know they do the Discover.. Thanks for comment..

Yes thats where I stay at too. It’s probably about a 20 minute drive at max with traffic in the morning.

My wife and I are diving with express watersports July 15 or 16. Please post how your dive went so we will know what to expect! I have read a lot of good things about them.
