 Summer Diving near Madison WI?

I’ll be visiting Madison WI in August with my kit. I noticed a lot of lakes in the area (including the obvious Lake MI). I was wondering if there is any decent diving in the smaller lakes - or do they all get algae blooms? Interested in a buddy for evening or night diving August 26,27 or 28th if there is anything good to see.
