I dive a halcyon BCD and love it. It is the most comfortable BCD I`ve worn. I like a lot of the DIR principles, but I don`t always agree 100% with everything they teach. People will argue which is better PADI or NAUI or GUE or SSI/TDI. You can learn from everyone of them. If you don`t apply what you have learned they what good was the training? I`ve read their book on the Fundamentals and I learned things that PADI didn`t teach me. Take it for what it`s worth. You can learn something from everyone.
