Our hearts go out to all those affected by the recent disaster in Japan and all affected areas, including those in the path of any tsunami waves.

I hope you, your family and friends are not harmed and I would love to hear from anyone in affected areas just to know that you’re all right.

Sincerely,

Greg and Becky Davis

Thanks for the thought Greg.

So far my area is fine, but has tsunami warning. Though, the sea was flat when the expected time for bigger waves will hit the shore (5pm-7pm). It’s 11:35pm here and raining hard, so will know more in the morning. Will keep u all posted.

thanks a lot and prayers to the people of Japan and all.

best regards,

Ana

Thank you all for your concern. We got some waves here in Okinawa Japan but they were minor and no damage to speak of. I was supposed to go diving tomorrow but may opt out until the sea settles a bit.

Here are pictures of Okinawa diving if you are interested:

Here is a link to various Okinawa scuba videos I’ve taken as well:

Hi Greg thanks for your lines. as you know already we are ok in Philippines. Now my concern its about the nuclear plants in Japan and the impact that can have in the underwater world.

Lets hope that the nuclear scientific of the world do their homework and keep our world safe for us and for all the living planet.

best wishes,

Velvet

Sorry to hear that you had to dislocate your family Andy. If you do end up joining your family here, get in contact with me and we will do some diving.

Sorry for the late response. All is well here in Okinawa. We were under a Tsunami Warning for about ten hours or so and two of the bases here including the Naval Hospital were evacuated because they were in the Tsunami "low lying area" but in the end we only had a few waves come ashore in northern Okinawa on the evening of the 11th, the green light for diving was not given until Sunday. Hope everyone else in this part of the world is okay and safe.
