Does anyone know of any books that would help with learning more about maintenance and repair tips that I could use to learn from. Looking to expand my knowledge of minor repairs (like O rings) so I can put together a good save a dive kit and be able to fix minor things that might otherwise end my dive, especialy when travelling.

Take an equipment class, mine came with a book and only had three students, the others hadn’t brought their regs so we got to tear down mine in class :)

Check here for manuals on your reg; http://wetlands.simplyaquatics.com/v/docs/scuba-repair-manuals/

The best way to learn is from a factory rep who will teach you everything there is to know about the type of equipment you are working on. I did mine with my reps and am comfortable with my repairs.
