Been talking to a few frends,about what software they like for editing dive/snorkel photos. mostly digital, what are some products out there that some one would recomend ??

Check out Paint.net. It`s free and pretty good. Otherwise, if you want to spend some money, Adobe Photoshop is the industry standard for image editing.

I agree with Greg as far as buying a program, Photoshop has been a "fun" program for my projects.

I use photoshop. If you want to start off with something less expensive and easier then get photoshop elements.

I use PS CS3 and it works well. There is a pretty good book, "Adobe Photoshop for Underwate Photographers" that really goes into all of the uses, color corrections, backscatter fixes, etc. ISBN 1584281898 I am off to Wakatobi in March and April for an 18 day photography amd videography jam, so I am looking forward to learning more there. i recall seeing a post about free software esigned to edit dive photos back into true color. Anyone recall what the program was?
