I have used Island Divers several times. You must do shore diving at sharks cove and 3 tables on the north shore, they are adjacent coves with great shore diving, will also have snorkelers there. A must dive is the WWII Corsair off the east coast.

I have been reading about the Corsair a lot and was on my list the first time i went back in 03 but the shops were not going because of weather. Have you had any problems diving that site?

If the weather is to rough its really hard to get out there and it starts to become a safety issue. June though you should be good to go. Island Divers is awesome, I dive with them at a minimum monthly and their instructor staff is awesome. I live on Oahu and I should be around while you are there. Its also North Shore shore diving season as well.

Fun shore dives: Lanai Lookout, Shark’s Cove, Three Tables, Sunset Firehouse
If you’re only going to do one boat dive day, some of the shipwrecks are a bit more interesting than the Corsair which is 115 feet deep (Sea Tiger, Mahi,YO-257 are other deep dives). Most of the dive boats here have good days and bad days. None of them are full-service like you might find in other diving locales (i.e. bring your own food and drinks).

I live on the West Side, and love to shore dive. Have already hooked up with a few divers from this web site and we have had an awesome time. June is a great time of year for shore diving. Will you have gear? and transportation?

I am bringing everything but tank/weights/knife and fins. I plan on buying new bootless fins while i am there. I am not bringing a wetsuit so i am hoping to not regret that decision.
