[Choose #4] Puerto Rico sounds good to me !!!
[Choose #5] Gulf Coast of Alabama. Access to Florida Wreck Trail and native artificial reefs as well as Oil rigs.
[Choose #5] Alexandria Bay, NY

[Choose #4] Never been, but I love the idea of PR...sounds exotic, close to home, affordable flights, feels like a foriegn country.

[Choose #2] It would be hard to beat the Fort Lauderdale area, except for the fact that there are plenty of dive ops there. Night life, casino, shopping great diving. Plenty to do for the non-diving spouse. downside is it would be very expensive to start up.

[Choose #2] ft. Lauderdale by the Sea because the people there are always so friendly and the definitely welcome scuba divers!
[Choose #4] I think the East side of PR is Beautiful, near Rincon. And PR is not saturated with Dive Shops, so plenty of opportunity for a Dive business there.
[Choose #5] USVI, St Croix
[Choose #5] Hawaii would be a great choice
[Choose #4] +1 for PR - gonna be there in June :)
[Choose #5] San Diego - maybe not as warm as PR, but excellent selection of land activities, kelp diving with plenty of fauna, and relatively easy access to channel islands and wrecks. BTW - I think you meant "hostel," as in "youth hostel," not "hostile!" :-)
[Choose #2] Pensacola/Panama city area; Not as grown up as flying into Miami area; Lots of non SCUBA activities and something other than condos on the beach would be great.
[Choose #4] If you know some one form PR that can guide you through the process (like me) all we need is an investor. The thing about PR is that the Diving business is varely untouch and not exploided..Becuase is a US territory you will find manyprocteted areas
[Choose #5] Almost USA- Rocky Point (Puerto Penasco) Mexico only 3 Hours from Phoenix AZ with only 1 dive shop at present. (on the Sea of Cortez)

[Choose #1] Great diving, can drive from CONUS, or fly/drive from Miami or Ft Lauderdale hubs. Atlantic coast around Pompano Beach also good with reefs and wrecks.
[Choose #5] Are we talking continental US or do protectorates count? The Keys for continental, Phillipines or American Samoa for protectorates.

[Choose #4] PR is a nice place to visit, pretty affordable and the diving is great.
[Choose #5] Hawaii. There are plenty of dive shops. But no true "dive resorts" yet. Pick an Island. There are pros and cons with each. Personally I think Maui would have the best mix of all land activities and maybe the most dive sites to choose from.
