September 12-23, 2009: I’m using Obama’s unused campaign funds to run my own campaign to find a dive buddy(s) to got to Lembeh Resort and Minahasa Lagoon, North Sulawesi, Indonesia. This is a serious trip to Indonesia for those who want to experience the richest biodiversity in sea life that can be found on the planet. This is where the marine biologists and pro photographers go! Interested persons need to contact Fred Dion directly to reserve a spot and to obtain trip details. Your first step may be to visit Mr. Dion’s website: www.uwphoto.com and see the side bar for "UW Photo Trips." I am looking for an experienced traveler for a dive buddy. If you are capable of conducting yourself independently on this kind of international adventure, but get on well with perfect strangers (initially) in close quarters then please contact me. I will be, in the coming months, looking into expanding this trip to include another location in that part of the world, which would be on our own. (This is a long way to go for less than two weeks) This trip will be accompanied/co-hosted by recognized photographers Burt Jones and Maurine Shimlock who will also conduct underwater photography instruction. I have traveled with Burt to Cocos Island, Costa Rica. He is a man of the best caliber and an excellent photographer. Anything he and Maurine are involved in will NOT disappoint. Seriously! You need to look into diving this part of the world. Indonesia should be on the list of "must see" for those of us who use our spare cash and time to dive. |
