My name is Mike, I am a recently transplanted to FL, Texas native. I am 50 y.o. and a recent graduate of Texas A&M University @ Galveston where I earned a BS in marine biology. I moved to FL to take a job with Mote Marine Research Lab, where I was employed until June ’08 when they shut down the department due to funding reduction. I am now working for NMFS collecting by-catch data on gulf longlining (primarily shark and turtle by-catch). I am looking for a local dive buddy for kayak diving, shore diving, fossil shark teeth diving, spearfishing and wreck tech diving.
