I took diving lessons about 19 years ago, did a few dives but then life got in the way, like it does. Now I’m retired (yay) and have the time to do this again. I recently took a course to update my skills and discovered three things: (1) those miserable weight belts have gone the way of the dodo, thankfully; (2) BCD’s are much better than they used to be; and (3) now you don’t need math — the handy dive computer does all that stuff for you!
