Fossil Ledge is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in Wrightsville Beach, NC. This dive site has an average rating of 4.20 out of 5 from 10 scuba divers. The maximum depth is 101-110ft/31-34m. The average visibility is 51-60ft/16-18m.

The fossil ledge is a great dive for those looking to recover some Megalodon and other sharks’ teeth. You can also find various shark and whale bones. The ledges themselves are great dives in addition to the great fossil finds. The depth is usually between 95 and 105 feet. It is best to go with someone who has knowledge of the ledge. It is also recommended that you use a wreck reel as it is easy to get disoriented because your attention is on the fossils. This is a highly recommended dive.

Not much to see out there. Didn’t have too much luck finding big teeth.
