It’s been about 8 years since my last dive in Hawai’i. I was still married then so we dove as a family. Now I’m divorced so I have not dive since. I’ve been wanting to get back in the water but all the dive trips are so expensive. I’m just a social worker with a few part-time jobs.

I missed the ocean, it’s like a different world out there and I miss being "one" with the underwater world.

I’m looking for a female dive buddy maybe from Houston too or from anywhere. I love to travel. I’ve been doing a lot of traveling but it hasn’t include diving yet but I’m hoping to start diving this year and every year. I’m ready to go anywhere anytime.

DoryC - 4/15/2018 3:49 PM Hi Linda, We’re basically town neighbors. I took my diving lessons with Sea Sports Scuba. I’m planning on calling them to take a refresher course before I go on my big dive. My plan is to dive this year but nothing is set yet. I love international travels. I’m still working on finding a female dive buddy or two. Tejaseagle - 4/04/2018 6:58 PM Hi Dory, I see your from the Humble area, I used to live there and know many divers from that area. Where did you take your diving lessons? I too divorced 5 years ago and immediately started diving again. I gave myself a divorce present of a dive trip to Australia. We were wheels up the day after my divorce was final. I have been going on dive trips ever since.

DoryC - 4/03/2018 2:00 PM 3 dive trips! That’s awesome! I’m still working on my 1st one after my divorce a few years ago. I’m planning on diving somewhere outside of the U.S. but I haven’t figured out where yet.
