I dive mostly in the Niagara Region and would say that my best dives have been on the Keystorm ("Deep")in Brockville and that my best shallow dive has been on the Marquette in Penetang.

The two constants with this member is that hes new to diving, with just over 2 hours exp u/w, and that he’s done a 300 ft dive.. hes repeated these things several times.

I think similarly to you in what hes doing is googling or reading info on diving to impress this group, and thats what Im having a problem with. I run Nitrox, and have an interest in tec diving about as strong as my desire to advance to IDC. I talk regularly with Instructors, tec and commercial divers in my local dive club, and have studied dive tables including the Navy tables.

Hes mentioned nothing suggesting rebreather. His biggest discrepancy is the one I put in the post, claiming he took a "standard rig", on a 50/50 mix of gas, down to 300’. Now, considering a std rec rig we’ll assume a BC with an 80, and assume he means 50% EAN. If he doesnt run out of air by the time he sees 300 ft I would think his pO2 levels would be lethal.

Hi just checkin for divers that have some same ideas about diving as I do. I have lots of pics of my boat & places Ive been. Also read my blogs about diving the world & let me know what you think & if I can be a divebud?? Also I am going to do some weekend diving, open to whoever wants to come for my boats 1st ocean trip in a long while.

"What are usual conditions at the dive site with regards to vis, current, depth, and temp? And, is it on the Canadian or American side of the river?" The last time we dove viz was only 5-6 feet and the current was stronger than normal. The wreckage lies around 23` but don`t expect to see a plane. There is nothing down there that resembles a plane... only a debris field. It is on the American side of the channel just west of Bay Harbor Marina. I`ll have to get the coordinates from my buddy.
