To all members.


The Holidays are fast approaching, with that in mind I would like to start a discussion on what to get for your favorite diver for the Holidays. I know myself I have most everything I NEED, but I would like some new toys. In this time of economic hard times how do you get that special diver his/her great gift. I would like to hear what other diver have to say.

TexasDiver - 11/26/2008 9:12 AM My Dive Buddy really wants to get into underwater photography so I thought I’d get her the new Sealife DC800 Pro pack for Christmas.Although she wants me to get my new reg. first(Aqualung Legend) the camera is already wrapped up.Oh and btw, my DB is also my wife so naturally she comes first

seawolfdiving - 11/18/2008 9:04 PM Well, being an "old fart", I have most of the things I need, except maybe a GREAT DIVE BUDDY. You know, one of those things that sticks with you, can pull their own weight (so to speak), and is reasonably reliable... Not some "SAME. OCEAN. BUDDY" that shows up for a dive an hour and a half late and forgets to bring their gear, but a real honest to goodness Dive Buddy. But in the event one of those is not available, I’d be just as happy with a VideoRay ROV...! Ron sends

divemaiden - 11/18/2008 7:29 PM I’ve never had that problem before, as none of my family or friends dive. But I recently met a local diver and became buddies. Since I don’t yet know his tastes or his needs, I got him a gift certificate to a local dive shop.
