Started with the review of our online Knowledge Reviews, plus the Standards and Procedures Exam. I hate true and false. I had a candidate once that always missed them, now I can see why. Plus, make sure you check the quarterly updates and update the CD manual…now I know. Next we had a great prescriptive teaching workshop, which really cleared up a number of conflicting information that I had. Then we had a great class on psychology of evaluation & counseling. It brought to light many circumstances and how we may be able to handle them. Lunch was at the same place again. It is a buffet so there is variety. They give us 1.5 hours for lunch so there is no rush and time to relax for a moment. We ended the day in the pool. First was Confined water evaluation. We will have to match 3 out of the 5 areas being evaluated. Not hard but it is nice when you match all 5 with the control score. Then my group spent about an hour working on rescue breathing with and with out the pocket mask. The first time I pulled the BCD out from under my victim, he was almost a real victim. For some reason he sunk as soon as I pulled it out. I was trying a new/different technique. The next time I used my normal technique and there were no issues. Tonight I need to work on my Confined water presentation, Air depletion. I should have no issues with it, unless I have a brain malfunction. It does happen!.

PS The internet connection can be a little...painful
