Rocky Pt. East is a shore accessible salt water dive site, located in East Marion, NY. The maximum depth is 26-30ft/8-9m. The average visibility is 31-35ft/9-11m.

The site has a clean sand, pebble and rocky bottom. Lots of rocks and a fair amount marine life around them. The current is strong here and visibility is good. Slack tide would be the only time to dive this site.

Take the Long Island Expressway East to Exit 73, Old Country Road. Drive east on Old Country Road through the traffic circle and make a left on Northville Turnpike. Drive north to the end and turn right on Sound Avenue.

Sound Avenue will become Middle Road. Take this east until you see a sign for East Marion; turn left onto Rocky Point Road. Drive north to the end and park. Parking is not allowed at the end of Rocky Point Road between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. Other parking will have to be found if you’re planning to dive within these hours.
