Moose Lake is a boat accessible fresh water dive site, located in Waukesa, WI. The maximum depth is 51-60ft/16-18m. The average visibility is 11-15ft/3-5m.
This lake (as well as others in nearby area) have pretty decent viz for an inland lake.
There is an old pontoon boat in ~20ft of water near the southeast side of the lake. According to the local DNR a dump truck also exists somewhere in the bottom of the lake.
The boat dock area is completely public and free to use at this lake. It is on the south end of the lake. A shore dive from the dock area is possible however you must swim past the peninsula before the lake starts dropping below 10-12ft. The lake does have boaters, so either dive it out of season or be very cautious of inland boaters (they typically don’t know what a dive flag/alpha flag/or dive buoy is).
