It is a lake with low visibilty most of the time but if you dive there before the busy summer seasons or late in the fall after words the vis can be good. The lake does have a depth that exceeds 150ft but that is in the center of the lake. Shore diving here amongst the marina and docks will score you such loot as sunglasses, wallets, cell phones and mostly fishing gear that made its way into the water off of boats. It is warm and easy dive even in winter and a good way to get wet on a boring weekend. There is clean restrooms, a store and easy access to multiple places to shore dive. There is a cost to get into the park that varies based on the season.
