The annual Put-in-Bay clean up is going to be on Monday Sept 21 this year. The event is going to consist of free transportation from the main land to the island dive site and back. There will be free coffe and snacks in the morning, and lunch. In order to receive your free T-shirt you will need to pre-register through West Virginia Scuba Divers club or

you Must register by Sept.1. Prizes and t-shirts will be given away during the lunch hour. Registration begins at 9:00 A.M., which means you have to board a Miller ferry no later than 8:30. Once arriving to the Lime Kiln dock on the island, the Tour Train will transport you to Derivera Park, where you register. You need to bring a full tank, because there isnt a fill station on the island. The entire event will take 3 or 4 hours, and one tank of air will be sufficient. Dress for the weather, because the event will take place rain or shine. Volunteers are needed for shore clean up as well. So bring the family out and lets give back to our waters and shores. Showers will be available, and DO NOT FORGET YOUR CERT. CARDS. only certified divers will be allowed to take part in the event. Gloves are recommended for all participants.
