I will be in Destin from Nov 28th till Dec 5th... Hanging around on the beach and diving.. I’ll be diving pref. the ocean but if the conditions are bad.. The springs are my back up.. I’ll be flying out so my last dives will be Fri. am..the 4th...

Hmmm.... sounds inviting. Any ideas on where you might like to go, and what’s the cost of the trip? I don’t normally do "springs", but it might be interesting. And I know some good operations down the mid-Atlantic near Jupiter/West Palm areas.

Hi Bubblesbelow,
"Only 80 miles away" wow you sound like me. The only distance that’s too far is the one that takes more then 24 hours to drive to. My plans right now are to hit Destin for some diving on the Dec 3rd, Still trying to work that out. Then I’ll be going to the Epcot Aquarium on Dec 4th, with a dive group from the Aquatic Center of Ocala. Then I’m meeting with divers from the Scuba Shack for the weekend at Vextor Springs. I want to return to Fla sometime early next year .. and maybe be doing that trip more often; well at least until the quarries warm up around here. Your welcome to join me on any of these dives but if not, then I hope that I can connect with you for my next trip and we can explore more dive locations.

I guess my timing is off cause it seems that I’m missing everyone elses dates. I’m trying to find someone that wants to hit the Vortex around 24th or 25th Nov. I plan on being in South Al for Thanksgiving week and its only about a 2 hour drive from where I’ll be. If anyone is gonna be there earlier, let me know.

Hi!! wish I could join you or the other way around. I’m traveling from Southern Ohio and really can’t make it until the first weekend in December. I’m really excited, it’s my first time at Vortex. I’m hoping to return either January or Feb it depends on which trip I travel with.

I’ve never been there either. If I can’t find anyone on here, I’ll probably just show up there and hope someone else is diving that will feel sorry for me and let me dive with them. LOL I’m going through withdrawals right now. I can’t breath out of water...
