[Choose #4] I don’t want them to go out of business.
[Choose #5] I would pay a membership but less than $25/month
[Choose #5] Yes, I would pay however I don’t really have an amount in mind.
[Choose #5] No, we would not pay. We own most of our own equipment, we don’t use the shop to dive. The people may change in the shop, whom we may not care for. We are going to drive 2 hours away for a dive shop we like for our advanced.
[Choose #5] Don’t do much local diving but would like to support the shop
[Choose #5] My LDC has that service available for 50.00 per year

[Choose #1] I go dive almost every weekend and dive 16 to 25 dives a month. $45 is much cheaper for me.
[Choose #3] be better if it was a annual price and had a family plan as me, my wife and son dive
[Choose #5] Discount on continuing dive education classes
[Choose #5] We have a dive club and get most of the mentioned bennies for a lot less than $25 a month
[Choose #1] This is a stupid idea because it makes sense we would all dive more with a program like this it would be a win win thats why it will never happen
[Choose #5] Family membership?
[Choose #4] If I lived closer to are area that allowed me to dive more frequently, then, yes I would pay for this type of membership. However, since I don’t, I answered no.
[Choose #5] I am paying $75 a year for membership
[Choose #1] Even 45 bucks seems cheap for all that!!!
[Choose #3] A couple of dive shop around me have a scuba culb member ship by the year around $80 per year and includes the family members as well
[Choose #4] I only use my local DS when I have to... and then the service is so bad Inever get what I really want or need!!
[Choose #4] Yes for free fills and inspections, but no for the other services (already get 10% discount w/o monthly fee & free food)
[Choose #5] No, I paying dive shop for monthly membership. Dive shops with THEIR OWN clubs are, in my opinion, a conflict of interest for the entire conservation community; shops should sponsor local clubs!
[Choose #4] I use several dive shops, whichever one happens to be more convenient at the time.
[Choose #4] An annual fee would be better :)
[Choose #1] Discounts on dive trips
[Choose #5] i would pay $10-$20 a month depending on discount percentage
[Choose #4] I pay a yearly club fee, free air, discount on rental & courses
[Choose #5] I would pay a monthly fee for being able to attend weekly class traing that counted towards continued education and then pay extra for my check out dive.
[Choose #5] $10.00 per month
[Choose #4] The fees exceed my annual costs on average
[Choose #5] Dive shop in Houston already does something like this
[Choose #5] I would consider it...at least during the diving months. I live in Illinois and probably wouldn’t want to pay when the possibility of diving is zero

[Choose #4] it depends on the how much you spend on air fill/instections and etc ... check your credit card for the last year and do the match
[Choose #3] I already pay a membership fee monthly
[Choose #4] I think this is a great idea for those divers that own their tanks, however I do not own my own tank. So this is not appealing to me. I do own a BCD and regulator.
[Choose #4] I don’t feel that I get to dive enough to justify this monthly payment.
[Choose #5] I don’t dive enough for this to do me any good.
[Choose #4] Nice idea but it would need to be based on a cost effective yearly cycle
[Choose #5] FREE WHAT ?AIR FILLS-TANK INSP,? NOT FREE IF YOU ARE PAYING FOR IT MONTHLY !!
[Choose #3] it would need to be a benefit for me. even if it takes a few months to pay out.
[Choose #5] not sure of the price but would do it if it payed off in the end
[Choose #3] Provide demo scuba gear.
Buzo - 3/29/2009 12:41 PM
[Choose #5] that is a great idea....provided you use it and not treat it like your gym membership.
[Choose #4] free air should be standard for those who bougth their gear at the shop
[Choose #3] Make them differant level of memberships though. Like gold is full unlimited and silver is say, 2 air fills a month with what ever. And then they can tailor the membership to their needs maybe.
[Choose #4] I usually just buy air cards.. thats all I need from a dive shop.
[Choose #5] I would Pay about $10
[Choose #5] I might consider an annual fee in the $25-45+ range, but not a monthly fee.
[Choose #1] Great Idea Greg! I like that.. You’d have to have alot of people to make it work. The lunch is good to, grill dogs and burgers play music and put up a volleyball net. You have a good head on your sholders.
[Choose #3] $25 for all that is a deal or even for some combination of it. I’d accept a tiered system, as I don’t expect free air, inspections, etc plus all those discounts for that low price. I just can’t afford anything more.
[Choose #2] depending on what services would be in the contract of the membership
[Choose #5] Don’t really have a "local" dive shop..wished I lived closer to diving...
[Choose #4] I support 3 lds’s, it would be outside my budget to pay a membership fee to 1, let alone all 3
[Choose #3] anything that’s good for the dive shop and the diver.
