[Choose #1] It’s always a pleasure to meet new people, though I would make sure I was there independently or with a friend.

[Choose #3] I would if I had somebody going with me who I knew well and got along with already. It would suck to have your unknown vacation buddies turn out to be jerks and have nobody to drink beer with and joke around with.
