Geez, nothing really to see around. We have Brockville (3.5h to the east) - drift diving on St. Lawrence river, than Tobermory (4h drive NW) with some wrecks, but it’s really still cold in July late August would be better. Few small quarries with 10ft (3m) visibility and that’s it.
Oh there’s also 3.5 h flight to the south place called Cozumel, but I don’t think we can call it a "local diving" anymore ;)

Hey Michoel... sligo is a good little wreck to dive (Weather Permiting) Lake Ontario can be freaky. there is also a fun shore dive at Humber Bay. You would catch a charter out of Humber to dive the Sligo. If you have a car there are some pretty cool spots within 2 hours. Not to mention Kingston area . Literally hundereds of wrecks. Check out kingston ontario wreck diving for a charter service. Two I recomend are a large boat called the Proteous ( http://www.proteusdiving.com/ )and a smaller charter service called Pats charter( http://www.divercity.on.ca/pathome.html ). By the way any Toby or Lake Ontario stuff would recommend a dry suit. A bunch of other places within 2 hours as well can be done in a 5-7ml wet suit. Let me know if I can be more help

Hey there, as has been mentioned lots of diving in Kingston ( where I am) and Brockville, roughly 2.5-3 hours from Toronto. Kingston has lots of shore diving as well a some boat operators, proteus above is a good boat. There are some walk ons during the week if you check out Northern Dive Tech they have a weekly boat, as well there is a new boat starting on Tuesday nights if you contact Dan at explorer_diving@hotmail.com, for information, as well good river/drifting in the St Lawrence out of Brockville, I personaly use this guy Tom diveunderwhere@hotmail.com for drifting. Tuesday evenings are an easier drift Wedensday eve goes into a bit faster water.
Feel free to email if you want more info or looking to head to the Kingston area and looking ofr a buddy.
