[Choose #1] Now that I have weight intergrated, it’s awesome!

[Choose #4] I use both depending on what I am wearing, wetsuit or dry suit, or the kind of boat I am diving from.

[Choose #3] The less gear to keep track of the better..

[Choose #2] One of the GREAT innovations in diving over the years is the weight integrated BC with soft weights. Not to mention back inflation. I learned with a horse collar and a weight belt.....not cool.

[Choose #2] I had to use a weight belt in our open water class. Hated them. Weight integrated is the way to go, in my opinion.

[Choose #2] Not even close for me,I never liked a weight belt.

[Choose #2] I use a combination of both. The majority of the weight is on my weightbelt and I use the weight pockets on the BCD for soft trim weights.

[Choose #2] Prefer weight integrated with soft weights, but a lot of places don’t carry soft weights.

[Choose #2] That said, I think everyone should practice proper in-water weighbelt R&R. There are times when only the old ways are good. .. Abalone diving for one.

[Choose #4] I don’t care if the weights are hard or soft, as long as they’re on a belt. I’ve taught O/W Scuba classe for for a few years, where students used both weighting systems, and one thing is obvious, belts are just flat out easier/quicker to locate/dump

[Choose #2] only soft weights and never a belt. Never needed that much weight

[Choose #3] Easier to make adjustments with weight belts than weight integration.

[Choose #4] I have both a weight belt and weight intergrated BC, I split my lead between the two.

[Choose #4] I am not sure I would know how to dive without my belt. It’s how I learned and it just feels "right" - even after all these years =)

[Choose #1] Bag weights not only tear and take forever to dry, they release lead...on you and in the ocean. It crazy to me that they’re legal, that people use them and that they’re the most popular choice here.

[Choose #1] Actually, I don’t care if the weights are hard or soft. I just want it integrated...

[Choose #2] Question: Do the soft weights ever rip/tear and spill their contents? Are they more maintenance, ie drying time after diving?

[Choose #2] I have never used a weight belt and wouldnt even know what to do with one.

[Choose #1] While I was at Tacoma Dive show, I found a company called Pocket Weights (.com). They sell a rectangular dive weight with a hole made for weight integrated BCDs. I couldn’t be happier with these. Gave me coup code "lobster", DK if it still works.

[Choose #1] I usually don’t use any weight... when I do (e.g., drysuit), I have two small pockets on my BC that can hold single hard weight.

[Choose #2] since my style isn’t represented here I chose weight integrated with soft weights. I split my weights between my BCD and a weight harness with soft weights. This way should something happen that I need to ditch weights I can ditch part of my weights.

[Choose #2] BP/W with comfort harness and weight pockets. I personally do not like the fit of weight belts.

[Choose #2] I split my weight with soft weights in the BCD and hard weights on a belt

[Choose #1] i have a weight intergrated BCD, and would never go back to a weight belt. though i always have a belt in my bag just in case of emergency.

[Choose #2] #1 with my travel wing, #2 with my cold water BP&W + soft trim ankle weights for horizonal trim

[Choose #2] I would rather use a weight belt but I don’t have a butt. I take 2 steps and it falls to the ground!

[Choose #4] I dive a Backplate & Wing w/ a belt and softweights. I do however use a integrated BCD when working with students. Over the years I’ve found that a combination of soft and hard weights work best with many weight integrated BCD.
