Caribbean shell diving

I seek info. on any charters/shops, etc. in the Caribbean that allow collecting shells (alive ) while diving with them. I know it’s a needle in a haystack thing. Thanks in advance.

Most places won’t even let you take an empty shell anymore and the only place I’ve ever seen that had many shells was the west coast of Florida.

Why do you want them alive anyhow? It was the collection of Tritons that caused the Pacific to be over run with Crown of Thorns in the 70’s.

Yeah I knowthat’s why I said "needle in haystack". There are no Crown of Thorns outside of Pacific waters, so Atlantic Tritons Trumpets can’t eat them. I’m simply a shell collector who divesthere are still a few of us. Do a search on the "big" forum for this debate.
