I’m not an expert either, but I recall seeing an episode of "Myth Busters" on the Discovery channel that studied this question. They determined that implants neither compressed nor expanded under the normal extremes of flying or diving.

That is funny!
What about air pockets and expansion in the implants? Is this like air pockets in your dental work? :)

I have had a couple of students with "obvious" implants and neither mentioned any issues with diving. Of course, I didn’t ask either...

Not an issue their is no air in them. Strictly liquid, and they have the ability to stretch even if their were air in them.

Well, im not a Doc, or expert on those diving things, im just a guy hahaha. But I think the buddy with implants needs a buddy to feel the size before the dive & after the dive to see if they changed size, Hmmmm maybe during the dive too???

My wife has them and no issues! SMILE

No issues! I just went to see my PS for a checkup & we talked about scuba since he dives.

I’ll beg ahead of time for forgiveness! I’m very visually oriented, you see, and I have this picture in my mind ....
of a woman with extremely large "implants" and not being able to sink down as she doesn’t have enough weight ...lol blush
I have to hand it to the men on this thread. You’ve all conducted yourselves like complete gentlemen. Bravo!!
