On the subject I forgot to mention. I use a the purge and this mask allows a great flow out. Most purge masks tend to lift slightly around my face and fog.
I don’t have that trouble with this one. It also has a skirt around the valve that
keeps debis out. I have heard of people that get sand in the valve but I am not sure how the do this unless the are doing face plants in the bottom.. LOL A fresh water rinse keeps salt from building up as well.
I don’t think you are wasting time looking for a mask because recreational diving is just that, recreation so comfort and recreation should go hand in hand.
I even carry a spare mask for my good friend Justin Case. "Just in case"
