Hi Shannon, I can’t go along with telling you to dump the new boy friend just because he doesn’t dive. But what I will tell you, is let him see how much fun and how excited you are on every dive. It may be all he needs to encourage him to learn to swim and then possibly certification for diving. There are many of us that our spouses or significant others don’t dive for one reason or another.But, you can find lots of great people here on Dive Buddy in you area to dive with and gain experience.
