From DiveBuddyChgo: Anything under $100 at a dive shop is junk. $100 for a gift is to someone you love is crap. Anyone else doesn’t get anything. Take your $100 cash in hand and gift it to help make a small child’s lonely holiday a lot better.
Based on the suggestions made here already if you can’t find something worth buying in a dive shop for under $100 I’d say you’re shopping in the wrong dive shop or you have too much money and can afford to spend it on more expensive toys.
This message is rude, insulting, and distasteful in my opinion. For many people, including some on this forum, $100 may be all they have to spend on a gift for a loved one and implying that anything they may choose to buy is crap is a crap suggestion.
