Hello Jeff, my name Ben and I been diving for while as well. I live in New York and have apartment at Sunny Isles as well. I snorkeled number of times at Fort Lauderdale by the fishing pier. Never dived there and looking for someone to dive together. The next time I am in area Oct. 2 - Oct.4. I do not have equipment and plan to rent. Please let me know if you r willing to dive on one of indicated above days.

I’m interested in diving between Oct 3rd-9th. I’ll have my own gear possibly. I’m debating lugging my stuff down there. I’ll do lobster or spearfishing.

I’m a couple hours north in Palm Coast (that town near Daytona that no one knows about) and frequent the southeast for diving. I have all of my own equipment, minus tanks. Naui Advanced w/Nitrox. About 25 dives logged in the past 6 months.

I live near Orlando but looking to get in some more Florida dives before heading back to Thailand for the Similan season where I work as a live aboard instructor.

Me! Oct 3rd. Won’t arrive until that day. I’ll need to get a tank and weights, but I’ll bring my own gear. I was speaking with Daniel Okul who said he wanted to do some shore diving too!

Yeah I’m Down! What time would you be ready to meet up? I know Blue Heron you have to hit at high tide. Anyone know if that applies for other shore dive sites in South Florida?

I’m going to arrive around 5AM. So I can meet up after that. I was going to run to Walmart or something and get a lobstering license before we dive. Also I need to grab tanks and weights unless you have extra weights.

I always prefer Nitrox, but I might get hooked up with a couple bottle of air. Also depends on the site but I think most or the shore diving isn’t too deep so EAN would be ideal.

Where are you going to pick up the tanks from? Maybe I can rent them from the same place and bring them to the site.

Blue Heron you have to hit the high slack tide, but that’s just because of visibility. Not applicable for ocean beach dives. Although, visibility at blue heron is shitty now because they are flushing the canals apparently.
I’m looking to beach dive Oct 4th if anyone is interested. And every weekend after that, LOL
